TÚŽBA ... Ak zažijete takú istú túžbu a prahnutie po Zjednotení so Mnou, ako ten, kto ležal po celé dni na horúcom slnku Sahary, zažíva túžbu po vode, potom si Ma uvedomíte.
POKOJ MYSLE ... Ak máte pokoj zamrznutého jazera, potom tiež, uvedomíte si Ma.
POKORA ... Ak máte pokoru zeme, ktorá môže byť vytvarovaná do akéhokoľvek tvaru, potom Ma spoznáte.
ZÚFALSTVO ... Ak zažijete zúfalstvo, ktoré zapríčiňuje, že človek spácha samovraždu, a budete cítiť, že nemôžete žiť bez toho, aby ste Ma videli, potom Ma uvidíte.
DÔVERA ... Ak máte úplnú dôveru, akú Kalyan mal k svojmu Majstrovi, vo viere, že bola noc, hoci bol deň, pretože jeho Majster tak povedal, potom Ma spoznáte.

NESEBECKÁ SLUŽBA ... Ak máte vlastnosť nesebeckej služby neovplyvnenej výsledkami, podobnú tej, ktorú má slnce, ktoré slúži svetu svietením na celé stvorenie, na trávu na poli, na vtákov vo vzduchu, na zver v lese, na celé ľudstvo s jeho hriešnymi a jeho svätými, jeho bohatými a jeho chudobnými, nevedomé si svojho postoja k nemu, potom si Ma získate.
VZDANIE SA ... Ak sa kvôli Mne vzdáte všetkého fyzického, mentálneho a duchovného, potom Ma máte.
POSLUŠNOSŤ ... Ak je vaša poslušnosť spontánna, úplná a prirodzená ako je svetlo oku alebo vôňa nosu, potom dôjdete ku Mne.
ODOVZDANOSŤ ... Ak vaša odovzdanosť voči Mne je tak úprimná ako [odovzdanosť] toho, kto, trpiac nespavosťou, odovzdá sa náhlemu spánku bez strachu, že sa stratí, potom Ma máte.
LÁSKA ... Ak máte takú lásku ku Mne, akú mal Sv. František k Ježišovi, potom si Ma nielen uvedomíte, ale Ma aj potešíte.
LONGING ... If you experience that same longing and thirst for Union with Me as one who has been lying for days in the hot sun of the Sahara experiences the longing for water, then you will realize Me.
PEACE OF MIND ... If you have the peace of a frozen lake, then too, you will realize Me.
HUMILITY ... If you have the humility of the earth which can be molded into any shape, then you will know Me.
DESPERATION ... If you experience the desperation that causes a man to commit suicide and you feel that you cannot live without seeing Me, then you will see Me.

RENUNCIATION ... If you renounce for Me everything physical, mental and spiritual, then you have Me.
OBEDIENCE ... If your obedience is spontaneous, complete and natural as the light is to the eye or smell is to the nose, then you come to Me.
SURRENDER ... If your surrender to Me is as wholehearted as that of one, who, suffering from insomnia, surrenders to sudden sleep without fear of being lost, then you have Me.
LOVE ... If you have that love for Me that St. Francis had for Jesus, then not only will you realize Me, but you will please Me.
